Ryder’s Deer Hunt – 2024
We had the pleasure of sponsoring a free deer hunt near Gainesville, MO with Ryder Oliver from GA on one of our Land Hunter properties. Ryder is 10 years old and was diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer (Medulloblastoma) at the age of 3. Gratefully, Ryder beat the odds and is now a healthy 10-year-old that loves to hunt and fish with his father Chad and brother Mason.
Ryder harvested the biggest buck we had on camera on opening morning of rifle season. It’s the biggest buck his family has ever harvested! He also shot a coyote and a doe, and we got an afternoon of fishing. Ryder knows how to shoot!

The Outdoor Dream Foundation – Suzanne, Kevin, and Brad connected us with Ryder and covered many of the hunt expenses, including a full shoulder mount of Ryder’s buck.
Jeff Lovan – Jeff works for Hayden Outdoors and is the land broker for the property we hunted that’s for sale and he did a ton of work to mow the fields and set up blinds so Ryder could have a great hunt
Epic Outdoors – owners Adam Bronson and Jason Carter donated a subscription to their magazine and hunting consulting services as well as donating several hats, knives, headlamps, and fire starters.
Natalie McMaster – Natalie inspired us to create Leukemia Hunter after her six-year battle with Leukemia, and we will continue to sponsor these hunts in honor of her life and courageous example.
